Romain Vuillemot

Short Bio

Dr. Vuillemot is currently a postdoctoral fellow at AVIZ, INRIA Saclay, France. His research interests are in Information Visualization and Human/Computer Interactions. He completed his PhD in Computer Science from INSA Lyon, entitled “Un cadre de conception pour la visualisation d’information interactive” which briefly consists in a web services based framework to develop and monitor novel visual interfaces. He spent six month at the Human/Computer Interaction Laboratory at the University of Maryland as invited research fellow working with Catherine Plaisant and humanists on a novel text visualization interface. Dr. Vuillemot also developed and released several novel visual applications for movies, images and social networks. Dr. Vuillemot worked on Email interfaces and interactions in the frame of the project DLM 3.0 dedicated to future usages of Email as a postdocotral fellow at LIRISUniversité de Lyon
